It started to go downhill when the host reached out to me to ask me if I was keeping a party after clearly stating that I wasn’t when I arrive to the property I use the kitchen and the smoke detector went off. The host called me and asked me why the alarm went off and I told him and everything was fine the next morning he called my phone several times after I left his property and I left the place spotless. "I wish the hotel had told me that there was a strike going on with the security staff. I would have booked another hotel and gone to this hotel after the strike. It took over one and a half hours to get back into the hotel because the picket lines were stopping us from entering the property. After an evening out sitting on Derry road in the car for this time was not acceptable. I understand that unions can picket but if I had known about the strike I would have used another hotel."

"We had a good stay at this UofT dorm! i’m a very convenient location, close to train station and steps from streetcar stop. So happy that they were able to keep our luggage’s before and after our stay. The front desk staff weren’t the most friendly, also did not like that the rooms were not supplied with a hair dryer (had to borrow from front desk with exchange of my ID)"

"Two couples spent 3 nights in this hotel. A great location by the harbour and awesome service. We enjoyed breakfast at Roses for two mornings, delicious and reasonable prices. Our last evening we decided to go to Valerie’s for dinner a bit of a disappointment. We did have a great server Jasmine who helped us out with understanding the menu. We were not aware that there was an upper and lower level until after our dinner. We were directed to the upper level. The tables were in rough shape no placemats or table cloths. My hands were sticking to the table plus the sun was in my face since there were no window shades. Based on the prices on the menu we thought this was an upscale restaurant. The pool area is lovely, but there was no mention that we needed to book an appointment to use the pool. We have to send a shout out to Tino the Bellhop person, very attentive, and aiming to please the guests. Mentioned shuttle service was available within a 5 mile radius which was helpful during our stay."

"I stayed here for the BTS concert in Toronto. The staff were friendly, the room was clean and modern. We got upgraded to a Junior Suite which had a corner balcony and King bed. It was really nice! The only downsides were the slow elevators and no fan in the bathroom. But honestly it was a really great stay! Would go back."
