"Property has only been surface cleaned - fridge was very dirty with left over food, smoke detector was broken, dishwasher wasn’t installed properly so it falls out of the wall whenever there are dishes in it. No bath mats, cutlery was bought at the dollar store - no hot water in the kitchen, host was quick to respond but never rectified any issues. If you are looking for true luxury - this place is not it. "

"The cottage is cozy but it is a bit more run down than the photos show. When we got there there was mouse droppings everywhere, over all the cutlery, stove, piles in the living room couch and carpet…way more than seemed possible if the places had been cleaned in the last 5 days (we cleaned it all when we arrived and didn’t see any new droppings over the next 2 days). "My family of 5 adults loved staying in this wonderful, spacious home. We were all so comfortable inside with the layout that gave each of us the privacy when we wanted and space for meal prep, dining, board games and hanging out together too. There were more than enough linen and towels.The location is truly minutes from the centre of Gravenhurst and also close to the activities we chose to engage in. "The stay was very good in terms of the scenery and location. It was close to a lot of amenities and activities. The host was very nice and friendly. The issues we faced with this location is that it was on a marina and it seemed more as though we were a part of the marina verses really enjoying the seclusion of water and forest. There were no utensils such as a spatula and barbecue was dilapidated with holes on bottom. Towels were minimum and the backyard had weeds growing out of it . They had...

"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage! It was the perfect spot for the family and the kids with so much to do — from fishing and swimming to canoeing. The host was fantastic, and always quick to respond to any questions. A great place for a family getaway! "
