"Everything about this hotel is perfect. The location is 3 minute walk to the heart of downtown, maybe even less. It's also walking distance to Sun Studios, which is the opposite direction. The area is highly patrolled by police and security. I felt safe day and night. People are very kind. The room is clean and bright with a view. The free breakfast is fantastic. "Everyone at the front desk was amazing but the room could use some attention. The ceiling in the bathroom had peeling paint falling off and landing all over everything. An exhaust fan would probably fix this problem. The curtains were very dirty...had food or something smeared all over them. Safety guard across the window had peeling paint on it. Extra whole had been drilled in the vent in the bathroom, not sure what that for but we plugged it just in case. Will not allow me to attach...

"You can tell the property has had a renovation with modern look. Staff was nice and helpful and we enjoyed the free breakfast. We like the location and a HEB across the street was a plus.. only two bad thing was the sofa bed and Tv. The springs could be felt through the mattress and when you sat on the sofa it made an awful squeaky noise and small tv size! Sofas need updated "
