"The hotel was beautiful and really well maintained. It was actually one of the cleanest hotels I’ve stayed in and definitely the cleanest hotel I’ve been in that was 100 years old. It is in a great location and the staff were very friendly. However, the one HUGE downside was the wedding that was being held onsite. The room we were assigned was directly above the hotel restaurant and we heard every song. Not just the beat of the music; it was loud enough that we could hear the words. By 9:30pm the music was so loud for so long that I was starting to get a headache and had to go sit in my car. The music was finally turned off just after 10pm. That is a reasonable hour, but I had to be up early for a 5K. It’s a great hotel and I would stay again, if there was no loud event planned or if I don’t have an early morning commitment."
