"We really enjoyed our stay at the Alhabana and highly recommend it! Alhabana is located in Central Havana. By staying in Central Havana we were able to have an intimate experience on how real Cubans lived. The staff was outstanding! We would like to thank Rafa for all his help, answering questions, arranging an airport transfer and a day trip to Vinales. Alhabana was extremely accommodating and helped us when we were delayed 2 days arriving due to weather. We want to say THANK YOU for a great experience in Cuba!"

"As first time visitors to Cuba, I only wish we had stayed at Boutique Casa 1932 the entire vacation. The owner and staff were very kind and welcoming. The hotel was so amazing and unique. We loved our room with its many antiques yet modern comforts. While Havana has it's challenges , you will be in very good hands at this hotel. We felt very safe,were steps away from the malecon,and had a truly authentic Cuban experience. Also the very generous breakfast was appreciated."

"I can't recommend this hostel highly enough! Everything about it was perfect. Idarrah and Ronald were wonderful, caring hosts and the breakfasts we had everyday were delicious and healthy, with omelette, fruit, bread and coffee. The hostel is in an area of Havana where you get to experience a real neighbourhood, lively with very friendly people. It is a 25 minute walk along the sea front to either the area around Hotel Nacional or the other way to Old Havana. It is easy to take a taxi if it is too hot. I recommend ordering a Cuban SIM from the airport for when you arrive. Also wifi is available in the main hotels. The room was plain but very comfortable and a great bathroom. The building is airy and clean. Stay here, you won't regret it!"

"This wasn't a hotel, this felt like home. The staff are amazing. Jorge treated me well. Adrian was the night shift, he and I chatted all night. Vanessa was there during the day. The food is incredible. My room was cleaned every day. They arranged for me to sight see and take tours. My phone was stolen at the beach in Varadero (2 hours away). Vanessa offered to have me use her phone to call my family. She organized a taxi for me to get a phone and SIM card while I was there. The next day was my birthday and I was a little sad because I lost my phone. They made cake and sang for me on my birthday. They made sure I felt at home. The place was quite. The first floor is the lobby and eating area. The 4th floor is the roof top where you have breath-taking views. The hotel is in walking distance of Malecon. I was walking there at 10PM and at 5AM. I felt completely safe! Sit and talk with the staff about the background and culture. It's a free experience and you will learn a lot! I am planning to return to Cuba and will stay here again. This was an amazing experience because of the hotel staff. "
