"Everything was v clean. We stayed in the Wotter Room on the second floor. Yes it could all do with a bit of a paint in patches but the room is charming and huge. The view was amazing - we could see the fireworks in Plymouth the first night that we stayed. Had a fab Nepalese curry on Wednesday followed by an Indian pudding which was delicious. Steak on the second night. The hotel is on the edge of Dartmoor but close enough to the local tourist attractions. We will definitely return. "

"Liz and Paul were very friendly and took all our requests and answered them quickly. Breakfast was out of this world. Room was very clean and plenty of sockets for all your things that needed charging, it was also very spacious. Liz was always there to answer any questions and Paul was always around but not seen very much as he was probably chained to the range dealing with all the breakfasts, but very pleasant when you did see him :-). "We stayed in Heathcliff House for a couple nights in August and had a very pleasant stay. Alex and Stacey were both really welcoming and the breakfast was lovely which catered for vegetarians (a huge factor for me!). The car park was also a bonus for us, however the beach and town centre were both in walking distance and public transport very close by too. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in Torquay 😊"
