"Our stay was really nice , would definitely come back , the only downful was that the breakfast wasn’t very nice at all. We stayed for 2 nights only bothered to go for breakfast once as we really didn’t enjoy it at all ."

"Very clean which was a massive plus point. Great location and convenient. A good pub around the corner and restaurant. Very close to the sea and for friends and family good size rooms. Great for one or two nights. Tea and coffee facilities, towels a kitchenette shared bathrooms."

"This hotel is quintessentially British. It’s a in a perfect location for the new forest. We were a family of the 3. 2 adults and a 16 great old. The room Was on the ground floor (135) great location within the hotel. Until the evening when we were kept awake for 2 nights by the guests upstiars! You have to make allowances for creaks and noises as it’s an old building but blimey I thought people were going to come through the ceiling. They obviously had a young child above us which was not ideal. And our bed was horrendous. It was like laying on the bed base. But apart from Those 2 things hotel was lovely. The grounds were beautiful and the staff were super friendly and the whole place was lovey and clean."

"The food service and staff were exemplary, the bed however wasn’t. I get that hotels have to cover for people wanting twin rooms , however when paying for a delux room I expect a double bed , not two singles pushed together. Very uncomfortable nights sleep."

"All good. Easy to find, plenty of car parking space. Reasonable price for accommodation. Decent restaurant. The beer… there’s no such thing as bad beer, only, some beer is better than other beer…! Nothing to grumble about, big plus. Will definitely book again when we’re in that South-coast neck of the woods👍"
