Cottages in Isle of Wight

"Welcomed into the hotel and arranged parking for us (particularly busy car park on arrival). Assistance offered with luggage and ran through hotel facilities etc. Cathy was particular good with our two year old. We booked dinner, menu catered for all of us and the simple pricing was appreciated. We used the inside pool, kids area and games room. Little ones loved it and all the facilities were clean, well maintained and comprehensive. The outside garden looked wonderful, we had a quick walk around could see and there was hours of fun in the garden (Park area, pool etc.) Check out was smooth and great that it was 11AM (enough time to digest breakfast before we pack! Room was clean, and the travel coat was already assembled (per our request). Milk in the fridge was a nice touch, I think it makes a difference for a cuppa. Thanks"

"Very friendly and helpful staff wether it be waitress receptionist or cleaner nothing was to much trouble. We had a family room which was spacious with comfortable beds and a roomy ensuite. We dined at the hotel every night and the meals were delicious, well cooked, plentiful and reasonably priced we had no complaints to make about anything. This was our second time of staying at this hotel and we would definitely stay again."

"Very pleasantly surprised. The new owners are really going to town, modernising everywhere, from bedrooms to restaurant, lobby, everywhere. Its now a very chic / boutique place. We only had breakfast there but that too was very good, well coked and good portions. attention to detail and eco friendliness is evident too, and the hosts said they will soon be upgrading the outdoor pool to solar powered heating. It's in a really good location, a short walk from the 'world' famous Chine and old village. Coastal erroesion permitting its also a short walk to the beach, the beach lift is also a short walk. Enjoyed our stay here, hosts very friendly, sure to visit again."
