"Everything was perfect during our stay. The food was great, the hotel was extremely clean and efficiently operated and the staff was incredible. It is a hidden oasis of calm outside of the busy surrounding area. I can’t say enough about how attentive the staff was and how helpful they were with planning activities and making suggestions. All of the trips they planned were effortless and top notch. Beam and Arthur (front desk staff) absolutely spoiled us. I wish we would have ended our trip here because the other resorts we stayed after did not compare. "

"My stay at Empress Hotel was a most wonderful experience. Empress is located in a beautiful and safe city, Chiang Mai, and it's close to EVERYTHING. You can walk to many restaurants, and the major markets are all within a walking distance. The people of Chiang Mai are friendly, and the cost of living is low. The staff are so friendly and courteous. My birthday fell during my stay at Empress, and they lavished me with so many gifts! What an experience. I thank the staff for the outstanding hospitality. "
