Our experience at Omstead’s on Erie was amazing, my friend, daughter and I are still talking about it. First off, the home was so well decorated, every carefully selected item has a story and the stories were amazing, all this with a great view of Lake Erie. Margo and Keith are great hosts, they provided us with many great local recommendations for dinner and Margo treated us to locally sourced fancy breakfasts. We will definitely be going back!

The hosts are the best and very welcoming. The house was decorated as with rustic atmosphere which I really liked. The lake view was great and nice place to sit down and rest outside. The servered excellent fresh made breakfast that includes fresh biscuits, freshly made Keish, greek yougurt dessert, fresh coffee and juice of choice Margo also packed freshly made muffins so that we can eat it while visiting Peelee National Park I will certainly stay here if happens to be staying in the area again

This is by far the best b&b we have ever stayed in. The hosts, Margo and Keith, welcomed us into their home like old friends. The room we stayed in was cosy and charming, the house is full of interesting art and antiques and the breakfast that Margo served up was delicious and good enough to be served up at any top class restaurant. The gardens are beautifully kept and a very relaxing place to sit and gaze upon Lake Erie. My only regret is that we weren’t able to stay longer than 2 nights. Thank you Margo and Keith for making our stay so memorable.

The hosts are amazing wonderful people, we advised them that we would be leaving incredibly early and not to worry about us. Instead Margo was up at 4:30 am packing us a meal to go, fresh muffins, juice, yogurt, etc. it is a beautiful place, spotless and very close to all spots we were trying to get to. There was nothing that needed improvement, a perfect night!

Omstead’s on Erie

The location was perfect, on the shore of Lake Erie. There’s several areas outside to rest and visit by the lake. The hot breakfasted were out of this world! And the hosts were very friendly and helpful.

Unique and delightful property where living is easy. Choose between lazing around the perfect lakefront property or taking a short drive to one of the many local destinations: natural wonders, great little towns, world-class wineries, etc. Margo and Keith are the best hosts ever and made us feel at home immediately upon our arrival. The home they will share with you is a 1926 classic bungalow and JUST the building is worth the trip - but just wait until you relax in the claw-foot tub, stroll the lovely lawn and gardens, or dine on one of Margo's signature breakfasts. The wonders never did cease in the three nights we spent there and we would gladly return to do it all again. To the entire Omstead Family: Thanks for sharing this Canadian treasure!

Great bed and breakfast, hosted by the Omsteads. The vintage decor is supported by great modern touches (lights in the right places), and an amazing location on the shores of Lake Erie. The breakfast is a highlight - great coffee, amazing, freshly made food and a great combination of fresh flavours. Margo and Keith are great local hosts, who treat you like family. You arrive as strangers and leave like great friends.

I can only echo the other 10/10 reviews which are all richly deserved. Fantastic hosts, fantastic food, fantastic accommodation. So much attention to detail in every aspect of providing a welcoming and relaxing environment to the highest standard. Thank you for squeezing me in before the big season kick off and for the conversation. Highly recommended.

Omstead's B&B is located at a beautiful waterfront cottage with a scenic view of Lake Erie. Private beach and large backyard garden are yours to enjoy during your stay. The backyard is facing east so it is also a perfect location to experience sunrise. With warm-hearted hosts serving gourmet breakfast, you will enjoy a pleasant and unforgettable stay of your trip. There is nothing to complain. We'd like to thank Margo and Keith for their wonderful hospitality and hope to stay in their lovely cottage again during our next trip.
