"Great place to stay if looking for somewhere that doesn’t cost too much and you need to be right in the heart of Canterbury. Check in was nice and easy, arranged payment for parking in nearby multi story with no issues. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was a bit basic but honestly great value for money. You get what you pay for. Ideal for if you’re on a budget. We stayed in family room (2 adults and 2 children). Everywhere was walking distance. Would definitely use again. "

"The staff were great - very helpful and polite. The location of the hotel was perfect transport walk into the city centre. The pool was a bonus - one of the main reasons for choosing the hotel, it was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was very good - choice of continental and cooked with wide choice, kept topped up."

"Good stay. Excellent welcome and service fro reception. Very old but very clean throughout. White bed linen and white towels. Actually next door to the cathredral. Parking would be challenging but for the good arrangement between hotel and city council which makes it pretty easy. Overall we were well pleased with our stay."

"Had an amazing stay. Only thing to say is we did get a little lost with location but once we found the cottage it was great. Everything needed was available, although car is essential. Sarah and family are fantastic hosts. "
