"This was our first ryokan experience. The service was incredible throughout - very easy to communicate with the hotel team, who were very responsive and helpful. The staff were all super welcoming throughout our stay. The interior is beautiful, and the gardens are stunning. Our room was large, bright and calming, with a private bath. The rooftop onsen is amazing and has an uninterrupted view of mt fuji. Private dining room with kaiseki-ryori tea ceremony, wine bar, and an unbelievable taiko drum...

" It's was a treat to stay in a traditional Ryokan-difficult to tell if this is really traditional or not. The onsen was nice, the futon beds were small and uncomfortable, the food looked spectacular but was pretty disappointing, very expensive dinner especially as there are so many nice places for a lot less near by. Breakfast was includde and again looked great but wasn't for us, so we cancelled 2 out of 3 days. Ideally located to explore the area with great views of Fuji about a 2 min walk...

"This ryokan is intended to be a place you go to relax. There isn’t a lot to do by design, other than eat, sleep, onsen, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in comfort. We did half-board and the food is fantastic. The staff were very nice. The onsen were beautiful, especially the open air one on the fourth floor. There are six or seven onsen total including the three private ones. "

"Words cannot do justice to describe how beautiful this location is. We were absolutely stunned when we arrived not only by the beauty of the surrounding area but the building itself. The property is large and has tons of beautiful gardens and ponds to enjoy while you stay. The food is also absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. "It was very fun to be so pampered and taken care of. As soon as we arrived, the staff were there ready to pamper us. One of the ladies spoke English, and was very helpful in navigating our first stay at a Ryokan. Dinner was very fun. The onsens were an exciting new experience as well. We thoroughly enjoyed it."

"I loved the bath. It was so hot and steamy. The traditional Japanese rooms were exactly what I was looking for for my stay in Japan. As we were leaving, the sweet host gave us hot tea to warm our hands on our cold walk to the bud station. When I got to the bus the station, I realized I left my hat. All of a sudden I see her drive up to the station and give it to me. Excellent Japanese hospitality "

"This place is a little far from the town but on the from Fuji city you pass a lake where you can a beautiful view of mt Fuji. The hotel is excellent with activities provided. Service is great and onsen really very nice. Two separate baths for male and female. They switched around in the morning. Meals are buffet style. They provided a good spread."
