"Although there was on site restaurant it was closed for bookings and only take away Saturday and Sunday, then beginning of new week it did not open until Thursday and was fully booked both remaining days even though tried booking for Friday on Thursday. Of course there are cooking facilities in the room but when you book a week away you would like ro be able to have a meal without having to drive. Apart from this we really enjoyed our stay in a lovely place."

"Lovely apartment, room enough for a family and even the Labrador felt at home. Excellent location by the church, parking and using the facilities were hassle free. Walks by the river and countryside just a few minutes away by foot and paw, many choices for pubs, restaurants and cafes or a short drive out for other options within easy reach. "It is a lovely cottage but be mindful the garden on the photos is not actually accessible from the property as its actually a first floor apartment and there are steep steps up to the front door. There were a few snags which I emailed the host about, mainly odd repairs and renewals needed. Also a coffee machine is provided but without the requisite pods to actually make coffee which seemed odd. Lovely location though and stunning views from the living room and second bedroom. "The property very spacious for 2 people and well equipped. Well placed for walking to cafes, pub, Spar and station. Great to have large parking space. Very efficient heating system for chilly evenings. Would be happy to book again "

"Great location on the edge of the lakes with the convenience of a town centre location for access to bars and restaurants. Comfortable and clean property. Just be aware that access to the loo is through one of the bedrooms, wasn't a problem for us as I slept through my friends nipping through but could be a problem for others. I would stay here again. Recommend the Raj for curry and the Dockray pub for live music. "
