It takes 30 mins to walk into Ilminster along a country trail past Dillington Hall for those that like a good walk. About 8 mins by car. The Old Mill is central to the area we wanted to explore with Barnstable, Dunster, Tiverton, Minehead all within easy driving distance, through beautiful countryside. Local amenities gets an 8 as there was a short drive to Bampton to buy supplies, although we new this before we went and took most of the food we needed with us.
