"I stayed in a cabin and it was very clean quiet and comfortable. I have been here before in the lodge and will be back again. It is in a great location for Pagosa and Wolf Creek or other outdoor activities in the area. "

"We had such a wonderful time on our vacation! The view was great, even with the rain, and we took advantage of the fire pit for marshmallows. Everything felt very clean, and the full kitchen was great for making a quick, cheap dinner. My partner kept exclaiming how much she could live here due to how perfect of a set-up it was. We’re already planning our next trip back and trying to convince a few friends to join us - which shouldn’t be hard with the pics we took."

"Everything was great minus our room. The AC wasn't working and the room was close to 80 degrees. The maintenance guys fixed it, but it didn't change the temperature. Two nights out of three were spent in very hot conditions which made it hard to sleep. "

"For the value this is a clean place to stay. The pros are that it was clean, and pet friendly. The cons: I walked in, and the smell of fabuloso about knocked me over. I had to clean that up with some natural cleaners I had, and air it out for hours on I even be able to breathe. If you’re sensitive to toxins, just a warning. For such a beautiful place in the mountains, and nature, I would have hoped for a scent free environment free of parabens. Plug on the tub was broken, so water wouldn’t stay in. Also, the dead bolt had been removed, that kind of freaked me out as a solo traveler. The property was pretty run down, but it looked like it was for sale, so I guess that’s why there was no staff in the main building. There is a phone number in case you have questions, but other than that no one on the premises. There was what looked like an apartment upstairs, and it sounded like someone was nailing art to the walls or remodeling literally until 2-3 am. I didn’t sleep very well, but again, for the money, if you need a place to crash, and you’re not picky, this will do. Would have been 5 stars all around with these things fixed. Maybe next time! "
