Everything about this hotel is amazing. Great location, beautiful rooms, and great owners.

My husband and I didn't know what to expect. We pulled up right after dark and we were greeted with a hotel that resembled a castle all lit up and beautiful. The staff (Tom and Tom) were outstanding and incredibly helpful. We decided to stay in and eat/drink in the restaurant which was had great food. Very friendly staff. The Red Admiral is a little outside the urban areas, so very quiet once the pub winds down. My wife was convinced that there was another (peaceful and tranquil) presence in the room, perhaps The Admiral.

Hazel, Ian and Auntie Chris were wonderful hosts. We had a shared bathroom that was no problem. Beautiful old manse with attractive, professionally gardened grounds. Room was like out of a movie. Orchids, fresh flowers, beautifully furnished and kept. Bathroom was huge with upscale amenities. Royal Worchestershire china and nicknacks. Breakfast included and fit for royalty. Beautiful facilities in a fantastic area. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Recommend highly for families as well as a couples get-away.

Wonderful place all around!

This is a hotel in a small community on the costal estuary. Not a 5 star Marriott, but you wouldn’t want one in this quaint town.

We stayed at LuLus the night before starting the C2C hike. The location is very convenient to the train station and within walking distance to several restaurants, and the trail entrance. Our room was clean and comfortable, and our host was welcoming.

We love staying here when we go to Barrow, such a lovely hotel.

Great breakfast and close to Lake Windermere

This was a gorgeous hotel in a great location. We were able to park our car very easily and walk into town for dinner each night. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. We had a great 3 night stay here.

It was easy to find and had parking available for everyone it seemed. The location was good and it was easy to walk to downtown Keswick on the footpath. The breakfast was delicious and a good amount of food. Would recommend.
