Breakfast is elite, yes it isn’t Michelin star but it is filling and is delicious in its own way. Staff are also absolutely lovely and the hotel served its purpose excellently. I’ve stayed twice now and don’t have a single significant complaint. "

"Breakfast was great, staff were attentive and the place was very clean. Theres lots to do close by, plenty of trails and next towns are maybe 5-10 mins away if you fancied more. My mrs and I were really happy with everything and would certainly recommend it to anyone!"

Local bus stops right outside, local train service 5 minutes walk. Good beachcafe just outside, Comfortable lounge and relaxing area. Plenty local info on the Lake District. i would return. Start of coast to coast walk. "
