"I arrived on a motorcycle with the large carpark to choose from and found a little out of view corner to leave the bike over night and because the hotel appears isolated i wasn't bother about security too much. One enters the hotel through two automatic sliding doors which is a bonus when carrying bags and crash helmets. The first door opens in to a cosy vestibule with seating around a rather modern teardrop shaped lig burner that appears to drip from the ceiling, it would be a wonderful place to sit on cold evening. After signing in by friendly welcoming staff I found my room negotiating my way up the stairs and along the deep pile carpeted corridor to my room. "

"we had an amazing holiday. The house is spacious and cozy at the same time. its clean and had everything we needed, loads of fridge and freezer space and washing machine and dryer. spent plenty time and the big back garden. we stayed for a full week, and was able to go on trips within an hours drive. there is a big new play area, 2 min walk from the house near the store. its brilliant for age 3 and up. the store has everything you need and the cashier was very helpful, which is great bc even though you're in the country side you still have a good shop 60seconds away. we slept really well the beds are comfy. "

"Great apartment. Clean and spacious. As described. We were there for an event at Coniston. Easy 30min drive away. We noticed the people in Millom were really friendly and chatty pretty much without exception. "
