"My Fiancée, our dog, and I stayed here the first full week of May and absolutely loved it. The house itself is beautiful—spacious, cozy, and very well-kept overall. The location was perfect: just a few minutes’ drive to grocery stores, restaurants, and local activities. The beach was only about an 8-10-minute walk away, which was totally manageable and made for nice morning and evening strolls.Inside, everything was very clean, with just a couple of small oversights: the trash cans hadn’t been emptied, and the dishwasher still had used dishes inside. That said, it didn’t take away from our stay at all.One of the biggest highlights for us was how pet-friendly the home was. It’s incredibly hard to find a house this beautiful that also welcomes dogs—especially at this price point.We try to visit the Outer Banks every year, and this has been our favorite spot so far. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"A very nice, clean, and comfortable house with all amenitites to meet all regular household needs. The grill needs TLC, with the first two burners rusted and collapsed. The outside - garage, front ground door, and the pool area - need to be swept and clear of fallen leave buddings, and winter leaves as well as the little chunk of grass around the house. The sink's garbage disposal needs repair as one of the blades is bent making awlful noise. The stove needs to be replaced, as it quit working, and even if the repairman came the next day to fix, because after roughly cooking for about two hours, the burning elements conked out and didn't produce and maintain the desired heat settings. Inspite of the unexpected challenge with the stove and the grill, the property is lovely and cozy, and the accommodations are superb! I would strongly recommend the property for the large family/extended family to gather for any special occasions."

"A little about us. We are a family of six. Two adults, two teenagers and twin 19 month old babies. so, here are the good things about this property… it is close to the beach. Aaso close to the community pool. The size and quantity of the decks are nice. The hot tub is great. The air conditioning was great and my bed was comfortable. The number of rooms were just what we were looking for and it was nice to have the outdoor shower. Plenty of parking. And the neighborhood was very quiet and close to a grocery store and some really great restaurants. now for the bad. The house was quite dirty and dated. There were dead and dying bugs all over the place. There were spiders, ants, flies, and they were all in various states of life. I found numerous dead spiders throughout. And my teenagers had an issue with live spiders in their room and bathroom. Throughout the week my teenager said that they killed an upwards of 7 to 10 spiders. So if you have arachnophobia, I definitely do not recommend this house. Additionally, on the first night that we were there, I was pouring a cup of water, and it spilled a bit and as the water was dripping down the cabinet, it was turning brown as it landed on the floor. There were cobwebs all over the house. All of the AC vents had black stuff on them… I don’t know if it was mold it could’ve just been dust that mixed with condensation, but it wasn't good to see. All in all, I would say that this place really needs a deep clean and some updates. "
