"The cabin was exactly as described and expected. Super clean. Well stocked kitchen. Very cozy. It felt like an adult tree house with magnificent, yet peaceful views. We really enjoyed watching all the humming birds and cardinals. The seclusion was exactly what we were looking for; just close enough to pop into town if we needed something. "

"Great cabin, had so much to do we hardly left to explore. When you do leave you are close enough to Gatlinburg that it is not a pain to drive and far enough away to where you don’t deal with all the people. Host was great, cabin was easy to get into and everything was clean. "

"I made this booking primarily because of the creek in the back. We were spending some timein Gatlinburg on our honeymoon and I wanted to sleep somewhere that had a chance of meeting a Tennessee native brookie. The creek was real nice and full of fish activity when we arrived, I made a few casts but we needed to settle in and eat as it was nearly dark outside and we had traveled a long way to get there. It poured that night and the creek became very high and fast very quickly. We enjoyed our time at the cabin (love the hot tub with the creek view for waking up in the morning) but the conditions were poor enough that I didn’t get to do the fishing that I had hoped. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the nearby attractions and are looking to stay outside of the hustle. "

"No need to over research and plan! The hosts sent suggestions for dining and activities - we felt like we were getting the support of a travel agent! When you stay somewhere new there is usually some trepidation wondering if the key code will work and what you’ll actually walk into - but not at Wine Down. All of the communication beforehand reassured us that they were well prepared hosts and we were just excited to get there.The cabin was cozy and comfy. The hot tub and bathrooms were impeccably clean. The location was close enough to town if you wanted to get out, but far enough away to still be able to enjoy the beauty of the mountains. The best part though, was the gorgeous creek splashing over the rocks right out the back door. Couldn’t be more ideal.If you are looking for a cabin in the Smokies, I spent hours searching for the for the perfect spot and Wine Down surpassed our expectations. "
