"Hotel was full of locals with no manners,lines to have lunch that we ate outside hotel. When did get to dine the buffet was full of people and cutting in line. I also got very sick when I ate lunch there…had to stay in hotel room all day because to be close to a bathroom. Assigned 3rd floor but elevator was broken. I will not go back but staff was super nice!"

"We stayed at the ibeostar in Cancun and the difference is night and day. This one in puerto plata is not well kept. The pool was dirty, paint around the hotel chipping away , food was okay. No complaints about the staff, they were all friendly and polite. I just wish the facility was up to the same standards as the other locations. Cancun location there were shows and activities that we were made aware of and invited too. Im not sure if there were any here because I did not see any or hear of. The atmosphere was just different. All in all I would probably not attend this location again. "

"Hotel feels more like motel or someone’s house with rooms in it. Tv wouldn’t work when asked to for help front desk clueless. It took Manager to finally get it working on last night of visit. 3 nights with nothing but crickets in room. Would never go back to this motel not hotel."

"The best thing about this apartment was the price given the length of our stay. The list of things inaccurate or wrong about this listing is very lengthy. Most importantly the cleanliness, the noise, the uncomfortable beds, absolutely no great views - it's in a parking lot and certainly not oceanfront. "

"Clean and comfortable, good and safe location, the property manager was able to assist me and answer all of my question very quiet location. The only thing was the neighbors dog did not stop barking one of the nights, but over all will stay there again "

"This is an excellent stay for our family of 6. Plenty of room for all of us. Including the added bonus of the games room upstairs with an outdoor bbq, couch that pulls out for an extra bed another outdoor seating area and half bath. The living room is large with a comfy sectional and the kitchen is fully stocked. The location is safe and within walking distance to lots of restaurants and local pubs (including a Pizza Hut, McDonalds, KFC, Wendys and Taco Bell). There is also a Jumbo and Seria grocery store and liquor store about 10 min walk. The beach across the road is nice, just a little bit of small rocks when you first enter. The property owner also set us up for a driver (additional cost) to pick us up and drop us off whenever we needed. It's about a 30-40 min walk to downtown Puerto Plata. Great stay, can't wait to go back!"
