"The resort is nice and well laid out. The room was absolutely beautiful and the beach was great. The reservation-only restaurants were decent, but the buffet was inedible. There is a bar on the resort called "Opus", which is only available for "Elite" members, so don't go in there. The service at the hotel was a little sub-par. The bar ran out of things constantly (including tequila) and we were only able to rent enough towels on 1 of the 4 days we were there. The resort also has a weird way of communicating requests, through their app, which doesn't make clear which services are available to you before you request it (i.e., you can order breakfast room service on the app, then 24 hours later they will tell you that the service isn't available). The resort also wasn't the best for a young couple looking to party (both in our late 20s) - definitely more of a vibe for seniors and families. We also recommend taking some time to visit Puerto Plata off-resort. The Uber there was cheap and it's a 15-min drive. Overall, although we did have a decent time, we probably wouldn't come back here."

"This is an excellent stay for our family of 6. Plenty of room for all of us. Including the added bonus of the games room upstairs with an outdoor bbq, couch that pulls out for an extra bed another outdoor seating area and half bath. The living room is large with a comfy sectional and the kitchen is fully stocked. The location is safe and within walking distance to lots of restaurants and local pubs (including a Pizza Hut, McDonalds, KFC, Wendys and Taco Bell). There is also a Jumbo and Seria grocery store and liquor store about 10 min walk. The beach across the road is nice, just a little bit of small rocks when you first enter. The property owner also set us up for a driver (additional cost) to pick us up and drop us off whenever we needed. It's about a 30-40 min walk to downtown Puerto Plata. Great stay, can't wait to go back!"

"The toilet paper dispenser is the kind you find in cheap airport toilets, non functional, just bad; the personal is courteous and professional, the hotel is clean; I would return ( I will bring my own toilet paper)"

"WRONG ADRESS. The host lies on the location. It is very far from the beach in a sketchy area. The host took hours to answer upon landing. They acted like it was no big deal. The apartment looks more run down on the pictures than the photos. I would be careful. The site won’t let me post an honest review so Watch out "

"The apartment was beautiful and centrally located. You could see the ocean out of the front windows and the mountains out of the rear windows. Communication with the host was excellent. I would highly recommend this property for people looking to stay in Puerto Plata."

"The room was clean, the ambiance of the hotel was great. We loved the bohemian chic decor and modern feel of this hotel which has probably been recently renovated/updated. It was a last minute booking and we were surprised at how nice it was, I wish we had time to enjoy the pool. The breakfast included was perfect. We would definitely stay here again"

"I recently spent 3 weeks in this apartment and I really can't say enough about how attentive the host was anticipating anything I might have needed and inquiring several times about my comfort. The apartment was very clean and tastefully furnished and all the amenities were exactly as advertised and situated in a wonderful neighborhood that was only a couple minute walk away from the beach and several very good grocery stores. It will definitely be the place I stay at for any future trips to Puerto Plata."
