"At check-in we had a very bad experience. We were extremely tired and just wanted to rest, but we were told that the room we had booked was not available because the previous guest had extended their stay. We were told we might get a room on a lower floor the next day if it becomes available. The staff had very limited English, and the whole process took almost 2 hours, which was very frustrating especially late at night.
We did not receive the room we originally booked and had to change rooms the next day to finally get the one we had reserved (higher floor with a view).
On the positive side, once settled, the hotel itself was clean, the superior room size was good and comfortable, and the location was great—around 10 minutes walking to Dotonbori. The city view from the higher floor was beautiful and enjoyable.
The room had a nice bathtub with hot water, and overall the stay became pleasant after the initial issue. However, the rooftop pool and jacuzzi were not working and could not be used during our stay.
Overall, mixed experience: very disappointing and stressful check-in process, but good room, clean hotel, and great location afterward.
