"This was our second to the last stop on our 10 day trip in Portugal and it was one of the best. The staff was exemplary. The location was remote and peaceful. Our suite was the most luxurious of the trip with its beautiful views across the creek canyon to the forest Hills and onto the coast at Sesimbra. "My review is difficult as we arrived to be told that a computer malfunction meant that our 2 rooms were occupied. We agreed to move to another hostel, it was good. They should have notified us before. Also payment has been taken out and paid back 4 times now, incurringinternational currency charges each time. I have requested an explanation, but no answer so far. They need to work on their communication."

"Monica and her staff are wonderful, the property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious and generous. For us, after 3.5 weeks of busy travel this was a perfect location to chill. We hung out during the day at the beaches, returned to shower and go back to town for dinner. It’s only 12 min to town/beach. Great place to stay, highly recommend!"
