"We had an amazing stay at the hotel for 2 nights. We had the family room which was great for travel with children as the master bedroom and 2nd bedroom (2 single beds) were separate from eachother. The grounds were quaint and peaceful! A trip to remember. Another great convenience was the Albury village store being just side by side with the hotel for all our extra needs! Full of period features and although we only stayed for one night we did have a chance to stroll around the farm and surrounding area. Superb full english breakfast featuring a lot of produce sourced on the farm. A perfect place to stay to access all nearby countryside and amenities."

"The building is about 500 yrs old so if you arelooking for a modern room look elsewhere also if you are a large person try another property it is a room above a pub. Very clean, comfy bed great tv and wifi service i loved ot and would return "

"We enjoyed the setting on a quiet street, the kindness of the hosts, and the comfortable accommodations. A simple and very adequate buffet breakfast was available for an extra fee, which worked for us. There was the offer of a more elaborate breakfast as well (eggs, etc).Enjoyed a friendly chat w host Brian during breakfast. We could easily return to Cranston House!"

"Lindsay is an amazing host. She is so helpful and has lots of great suggestions for the area. The location is very good for Gatwick airport and much nicer than staying in an on-airport hotel. Poppy is cute too! Thanks for your help with my fear of driving on narrow roads! Very large bedroom with lots of room to spread our suitcases out to repack after a long trip in England. "
