"Absolutely perfect stay at the Intercontinental. The beach has some of the clearest water I've ever seen and the pool area is also so lovely. We watched the sunset every night from the beach or restaurants. All the staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast is great. Would 100% come back again!"

"We chose Casa del Mar this time to be away from the downtown area but still have restaurants etc nearby. The location was absolutely perfect. The staff was wonderful - very friendly and helpful. We also loved the pool and beach area. (Hot tub was too hot though!) Our biggest complaint is the wi-fi - it was incredibly weak. It was such a source of stress for us that it will probably keep us from returning to the resort. We had weak cell service (Verizon) and with basically no wifi we had such a hard time using our phones even for local things - checking restaurant websites, making reservations - not to mention a flight cancellation emergency. We also thought the mattresses were too firm, but I had seen this in other reviews so was kind of expecting it. Also, the bathrooms all vent to the hallway so you hear a lot of noise from other rooms - tv’s at night, people talking, taking showers. It does help a bit to keep your bathroom door closed. I really wanted to love this place as the staff and location are so great, but unfortunately I think we will find a new place to stay next time. "
