"Sadly we will never see a need to return. Many positive reviews are false as we found by 6 am all beach chairs and poolside taken so we left the resort daily to go to local beach clubs. The food was horrible so we went out for breakfast lunch and dinner daily. We are not high maintenance at all but this resort is a 0 to a low 1 starvat absolute best"

"I paid quite a bit to stay there. I think I paid as much, if not more than the Hotel Westin, next door. The Westin looked amazing, because I checked it out. My room at the Playa Azul smelled of mold. I was disappointed."
