Room was clean, staff was so very nice, and everyone at the front desk was friendly and accommodating

Everything was excellent! The only concern was that there was often too much noise in the hallways at night and that should’ve been controlled by staff.

Very nice hotel. One breakfast complaint: As with so many hotels, no sense of what tea-drinkers want. A wide selection of flavored "teas" (which are not actually teas), but no simple, normal tea, such as an English Breakfast Tea. This may seen like nit-picking, but it isn't to tea drinkers. You would never treat coffee drinkers this way.

I feel like we really lucked out with this stay. Planned only 2 weeks prior, we booked accommodations last minute and took a chance on Avondale. It was perfect! Right on Beach Ave. in Cape May, we had view of the ocean from our balcony area. Upon booking, I received a call within 30 minutes from Avondale to confirm our stay and to ask us if we were OK with with walking up the stairs to 2nd or 3rd floor as there is no elevator. Not a problem for us and the 2nd floor facing the beach was perfect....

I love this hotel it is nice and clean. I have nothing negative to say. The employees are respectful and kind. My room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. We will be back again hopefully in September before the summer ends.

The Hotel was Awesome. What made our experience while staying there was the staff. The staff at the hotel provided the BEST customer service hands down. Super friendly and helpful. This is the 2nd time we have statyed at this property in the last 12 months and we love it. It’s one of a few places that has two queen beds so that’s always a plus for us. The property itself is beautiful and the rooms are roomy and feel very airy. We had a room with the balcony and used it for morning coffee. It’s also nice there is a microwave, mini fridge, plates, cups etc. The location is not right in town but you are right across the st from the beach and they provide a free shuttle around...
