"Arrived late. Night staff were welcoming and helpful. Room was tidy and fresh. Hotel needs some work but for a night stay it was fine. A telephone in the room and an early morning call service would be really helpful. Shower was excellent and invigorating. Will stay again when next travelling this way in June"

"A mixed experience at this hotel. Essentially it was a great hotel... but someone seems to have stopped spending any money on maintaining it a while back. On arrival we happened to see a small sign informing us we had to pay for parking - only £3 but the stay started with a negative! The air conditioning didn't work and when we asked about it we were told it wasn't supported any more. The room was stifflingly hot and the windows 'for our safety' didn't open very far.
