Great hotel for families visiting Boston. Free parking, pool for the kids, and breakfasts served before you go. Linda, our evening hostess was FANTASTIC. She answered our questions, took care of our needs and made sure we were comfortable. If visiting the city during the day, would recommend the I93 HOV lane to come back to the hotel. DO NOT take the "side streets" 128 or 138 back south to the hotel, and whatever your maps app might say, DO NOT take the Blue Hills parkway - you will sit in a...

Great view of the Charles River and downtown Boston from our 8th floor room. Family suite was perfect while we were in town doing college visits with our son. He loved that the living room had a Murphy bed rather than a pull out couch and we could have easily fit our family of 5 comfortably.

Not sure that I can add to all the other 5 star rating but they are all well desired. It's like living in a meticulous well cared for home. Service and attention to details were exceptional. Just need to be aware that it's a walk-up. Rooms are 2, 3 or 4 floors up. They handle luggage. It wasn't a problem for us but one needs to be aware.

Once you stay at a Mandarin Oriental, you'll find it hard to go back. Rooms and bathrooms are excellent. Housekeeping service twice a day. In the evening they prepare the bed for sleeping, put down a bath mat on the carpet and slippers. Set the room lights down; empty the trash cans; fill the stainless steel ice bucket; refold the leading edge of the toilet paper into a convenient triangle (really!); replace the towels, glasses, turn on the TV, etc. Lots of electronic controls. Two phones...

I stayed at the Residence Inn because I was visiting a friend in the area and had to make a quick stop at Stonehill College. Stonehill, for parents and prospects, is just literally around the corner...five minutes of less. The Mercy College volleyball team was staying in the hotel so I'm guessing it's a team stop. That's probably all you need to know. I looked at other possibilities, but would rather pay an extra $40 to stay in a place that is not underconstruction, has the Marriott brand and...

Beautiful beach hotel. Enjoyed the use of the pool until our room was ready. The location was perfect for out plans as it was close to Boston and surrounding towns for siteseeing and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

This was just such a wonderful time and experience we had. What a beautiful home and room! We also really enjoyed walking around the property and feeding the horses and giving them lots of petting. We just loved them so much. We look forward to coming back.

What is there to see in Dedham?
Enjoy Dedham and visit Legacy Place, Blue Hills Reservation, and The Fairbanks House. If you have some spare time during your trip, you might want to check out Historic Dedham Square and Charles River.
