The Parker Hotel and Rooftop
8/10 Good
"Nothing wrong but also nothing stood out with 2 exceptions at The Rooftop Bar. One door person/bell hop seemed very uncertain and almost nervous to interact. Knowledge about parking was very limited. Another front door person had strong body odor. Front desk was helpful in attaining the right type of rooms per reservation. The Rooftop had very limited access because of two private events. The front of house very kindly accommodated us but turned away others. Phew! Overall got a good deal with Expedia and moderate service. For the right price I’d stay again. Otherwise there might be better options."

"An excellent hotel stay for my family and I when we were visiting Vancouver for an appointment. The room was clean and spacious for us, and we were able to have a crib delivered quickly and easily to the room, which was missed during the Expedia booking. The only real downside to the property is that the wheelchair lift and escalator into the property from the Skytrain pathway were not working, making having a suitcase and stroller a bit more difficult to manage when arriving and leaving the hotel to take the train. Though we managed to find an alternative route or I carried things up and down stairs, I would imagine it would have been much more challenging for others."

"Place needs some updating. Faucet in shower was damaged, workable, but needs replacing. Caulking needs to be redone. Bed - mattress needs updating. It was great for a one night while travelling through, but wouldn’t stay longtime."

"Location was great for collecting a friend from a late night flight and for departing to Victoria. Check in/out was very efficient. Clear directions given of exactly when, where to catch the airport shuttle and return to the hotel via same. Room was clean, towels were lush, bath products were nice , not overly perfumed. Bathroom mirror frame could use a little repair. Beds were comfortable. Only recommendation is to avoid the adjoining Denny’s restaurant for breakfast. Plenty of Uber access to the city bus depot or direct to the ferry terminal. Will definitely stay again."

"Great service, very helpful. Location is also prime for many reasons. Slow and tiny sink and low tech TV operating system were only issues. Would go back."
