If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place. The resort is family friendly with all kinds of activities for the kids. Plus, centrally located to good bars / restaurants I think my only real issue was the size / quality of the room for the price point. I've stayed in way larger / nicer rooms for $200 a night. A great place to stay with a great breakfast buffet very easy beast access, and live nighttime entertainment. We had a great time there would recommend it.Ť OK let’s see. Bali with its congestion and litter isn't really all a paradise. The moment you walk into the Trans hotel that changes. This hotel really seems to "get" the customer service/satisfaction piece. Every (and I mean every) person that we encountered over our stay was gracious, helpful and genuinely happy. I LOVED eveything about this hotel. The apartment was very spacious and clean with all anenities you need including filtered hot/cold water. The staff always had a smile and was very helpful. The hotel has good amenities and entertainment. It has a gate that gives you access to a road with amazing restaurants, shops and the beach, it is a 10 minute walk but is fun as you walk through little cute streets. I will definetely recomend this hotel!

The resort is located next to the beach. Great location and you can easily access local shopping and restaurants, which are about a minute away (walking) The best part of the resort is the professionalism of the entire staff. Whether you are dealing with the groundskeeper, housekeepers, or other staff members, they always greet you with a "hello" or "how are you today?" They are sincere too! Service was the best, there were so many excellent personal I couldn’t name them all but thank you to all the staff that attended us. We plan to return. We were upgraded , food was delicious, pool, drinks. Hotel has a amazing theme, it needs some maintenance but would still recommend.

The hotel staff was really helpful. Hotel management responded to our inquiries prior to arrival. Facilities were clean spacious, and comfortable, the only observation is the smell in the hallways. The pools were clean and beach access was OK. Food was a bit of disappointment as breakfast has limited options. I recommend that the hotel serves fresh fruit juices during breakfast, better coffee, and increase menu options.

Fantastic area of town, great pool, great staff and close to the airport

The Paradisus is absolutely beautiful, we loved it! All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The entire property was clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this resort to anyone!!

This was a beautiful resort, right in town. We had the ocean view villa that was absolutely amazing. This resort is great and stands out among the rest because of it's multiple pools, and MANY restaurants either on site, or within very short walking distance. There is both a classic Irish pub style restaurant, and also the best Indian food my wife and I have ever had right at the entrance to the resort. MUST TRY

Get rid or upgrade the souvenir shops at the corner of the property. They look terrible given the overall nice surrounding of the beach. There are two located between the hotel and ocean, one in each corner. The goal when you sit on the lounge chair is to relax and enjoy by the beach; What I have noticed is that people that sell items at the souvenir shop make a lot of noise and spit on the ground(kind of gross & disgusting). Other than that, no complaints.

The resort had lots of amenities. Staff members were extremely nice and friendly. The breakfast options were out of this world. They deserve a “10” on everything.

Close to local restaurants and stores nearby. Great beach.

We went there as two families - four adults, four kids under 3. The hotel was very accommodating to our requests of wanting connected rooms. The buffet has a good selection, but the weekend brunch at Cut Catch Cuccina really wow'd us.

Nice Hotel. All the staff members were helpful and courteous except the Reception staff who guided us wrongly on check out date. We had explained to them on check out day that we had 4 suitcase and two hand bags and the lady at the reception said that it could fit in a taxi. When the taxi came we were forced to take two taxis instead of one due to staff incompetence.
