Great large unit and perfect location

Loved the size of this unit for my family of 4! It was so roomy and view of the ocean was great. We enjoyed the pool which was clean and well maintained. We also loved the beach area, it never got too crowded. The unit was great. Had everything you would need as far as dishes and kitchen gear. We had to buy toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags. I was worried the king bed might be uncomfortable but we both slept great all week. We felt very safe in the gated parking lot. This was in a perfect location about a mile from several stores and restaurant you would want. I would stay here again!

Yearly vacation

Love the easy parking, easy access to elevator, easy walk to the beach , and great location to coffee , groceries and restaurants . Very clean !!! The condo could use a little updating but nothing to stop me from staying there again . The owner was easy to communicate with and super sweet ! Thanks for the stay and hope to be back next year !!

Great location and views!

We really enjoyed this condo! The view was beautiful and we loved that the beach wasn’t too crowded and seemed very private. It was so quiet and peaceful. The host was also very responsive and very kind. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Great Experience just needs updating

Overall we had a great experience at this property. We've stayed at nicer properties but in worse location. Pros: Beds were comfortable We felt safe 2 bedrooms Very roomy Can't beat the view Nice property owners Nice pool Short walk to the beach 3 TVs Suggestions/ Improvements for Owners -Binder / booklet of how to work appliances and shower. Also suggestions of area attractions, restaurants, wifi , etc. -Shower in bath near Master. We could not figure out how to work this. We would suggest adding instructions in binder or fixing (we didn't ask). -Buy a bigger or nicer bathtub plug (probably $10 at Walmart) -Botted water upon arrival or Brita pitcher for guests -upgraded cookware that is not warped - Buy a new shower rod instead of duct taping -Patio chair - spray with rusteoleum instead of duct tape -Bath fixtures - needs updating - Toilet paper - put more in bathrooms Updating may be an expense now but will help with overall income of property. Overall good experience!

Magical Mod Blue Agave

This was a phenomenal escape from brutal Canadian winter, the house was impeccable, the pool was warm and lovely, and we can't wait to go back! Joe and Corey were extremely helpful and accommodating as this was a pre-Covid trip that had to be re-arranged several times. The house is a perfect balance of style and comfort, with enough space for our family of five to stretch out (even though it could accommodate many more). Thank you Mod Blue Agave!

Fabulous View of The Emerald Coast

We had a great time staying once again at The Aegean in Destin. Mary Jo has one of the best views of the ocean in Destin. She is a delight as a host and was very good at communicating with us about our stay. Her place is clean but could use a few repairs and updates. The view from the primary room and living room is spectacular. Always enjoy waking up and seeing the beautiful ocean from bed. The Aegean complex is very nice but could use some attention in some places, primarily the steps and walkway going up to Mary Jo’s place. The pool is nice and relaxing after being at the beach or sitting out on the large balcony of the condo. We would definitely stay at Mary Jo’s place without any hesitation.

Restin in Destin

Nice, roomy condo with a good view of the beach. The condo had all the comforts and appliances needed for a nice stay.. It was quiet. It was convenient to the beautiful beach. We likely will return as we had a good vacation at the Aegean.

Great condo! Would book again!

Property as described. Great communication by rental owner. She called to make sure I received needed information! For a condo, good thickness to the walls (quiet). Also this is an end unit. Pool was clean. Maintenance staff on top of exterior property. Easy access to beach. Chair service rental occupied beach area directly in front of property. So if you desire front row and are bringing your own beach tent you need to walk beyond property line (not too far). If interested in golf cart rental, property does not allow on site parking. Great security...gate always had security officer with code required to get in. 2nd floor location great for balcony beach views. We would absolutely rent this place again. Perfect for my wife and two younger kids (5,12).

Perfect beach vacation

We loved our stay here and will absolutely book this again when we come back to Destin. Beautiful views of the ocean from the living room and master! You are right on the beach. No roads to cross, no gate codes once you are in the main entrance. And they even have security at the main gate so you feel safe here. Pool on site which is kept very clean incase the ocean doesn’t cooperate. Everything I needed to cook with was in the kitchen and Mary was so nice to work with. Definitely book this property!

Great location

This was our first trip to Destin and the location of this condo was perfect. Literally steps away from the beach and 10-15 minutes from any place else we wanted to visit. Will definitely book again.

Very family friendly. The sliding door was in poor condition and we struggled getting it opened and closed. Water bugs got in and those things are huge! All in all it was a good stay. The biggest asset is the view! The security guard was awesome. Very friendly.

The best vacation!

We loved this condo and location! Mary Jo was amazing to deal with, had great communication and the condo was perfect for us. The unit was spotless when we arrived and was the perfect place for our family to stay for the week. We will definitely be back!

overall it was okay

Condo needs some updating. Cabinets in the kitchen are sagging over the stove. Could have used some good cleaning...there was dust on the walls and on the bathroom vent. Overall we enjoyed our stay, though. We didn't let the minor negatives bother us too much. The balcony is huge and wonderful! The living room and kitchen are decent sized. The master bedroom is large with plenty of storage.

Great View of the Beach

I booked this place for the large balcony and view of the beach which was spectacular! The grounds at Aegean are very well-maintained and beautiful! It was so convenient to be so close to the pool and beach! The condo is well- stocked with a huge kitchen and everything worked well! My only complaint would be the unit needs a good deep clean!

This property has an amazing gulf view! The check in process was very easy and Mary was easy to reach if needed. The condo itself was bigger than the pictures led on! We will definitely be visiting this unit again in the future!
