"We feel as though we are somehow doing Trump MacLeod House some sort of disservice by calling it a Hotel as from arrival we never felt that we were staying in a Hotel. It felt more as though we were guests in a Baronial home. The standard of service, food and accommodation was exceptional. The entire Staff made us feel at home from the moment of arrival. The quality of finish and standard of housekeeping was second to none. A very peaceful and relaxing stay. 5 stars all the way! "

"My friend and I stayed at the Ardoe house for one night. We booked an Executive double, King bed and stayed on a Thursday night in June. The hotel overall was pretty quite, the outside grounds were beautiful. Our bed was very firm, but also expected anywhere outside of the US. We made a table reservation at the restaurant, and were the only ones there. Food was ok, if you have the means to get back into town there are likely better options.
