"They cancelled by booking and sent me to another sister hotel only to find it closed and padlocked up. No notification from the hotel or Hotels.com or Expedia. No response to phone calls, emails before re confirmation of the move or complaining afterwards. Appalling customer service from all parties...and i've been in the industry 20 years."

Area is a little sketchy but there's little the hotel can do about that. Parking is limited but plenty around it. Good breakfast with veggie options. Generally a very good stay for an excellent price. "

"Great place, lovely lodge clean quiet and very spacious. Staff were very friendly helpful and accommodating. On check in they were so informative and offered a free drink at the bar. Parking on site and near lodges. Area quiet historic and beautiful with good retail facilities about 10min drive.definitely will be returning for a longer visit."

"The men on reception were very helpful both gave me directions to local facilities and one obtained a hair dryer for me to use. The room was comfortable and clean and I slept well. It wasn't a problem for me as I had enough , however a couple may find a single pillow each not enough. Toiletries were lovely and I liked the fact it was not carpet flooring - so much cleaner."
