We had the place to ourselves and the beautiful wildlife right on the river. Shanna and Kenny were wonderful and handled every aspect of our trip. The pool and bbq were fun! I would definitely stay here again. The family of Howler Monkeys with babies were my favorite part. Peaceful, serene, and in the jungle.

Loved this place so much! Even the management was amazing! Very responsive as well! Will absolutely be back.

We stayed at the Palms for a night as Hurricane Beryl approached Belize. The property was lovely, but the best part was the wonderful staff- Angelee and Selvin were absolutely amazing! They helped us in a million ways, and always with great friendliness, even in the anxious hours before the storm arrived. Next time we go to Belize City, we'll definitely stay at the Palms!

I took a chance on this place since I could not find any reviews. I'm very glad I did! The staff was wonderful and the place was absolutely beautiful. If you want to experience the jungle (with comfort) this is the place to go. I could also walk to Blue Hole National Park within 10 minutes. I highly recommend this place.

Everything about the hotel was beautiful, there were plenty of restaurants, the staff was amazing, when I would post on my social media, everyone asked where I was at because it looked so pretty. We will definitely be back.

The host accommodated me even though my flight in was after the listed check in time on the site. He also arranged for my transportation to the property. The condo was very clean, quiet, and had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable and you could even smell the cleanliness of the unit and the sheets. Being a female solo traveler, I felt very safe and secure.

We really liked this hotel. The location was great. It was a short walk to many restaurants and bars. The service was excellent. The views from the pool deck on the roof were amazing with great ocean breezes. The bartender up there was very attentive and the drinks were inexpensive (vodka cranberry and rum and coke). They also had a cooler of beverages in the lobby, a casino and a convenience store on the first floor. Very helpful front desk staff. We would totally stay here again.

Had a great time. The staff at this hotel is really wonderful. It is a very pretty hotel set on a great beach. it is a quite town but close to lots of attractions. Water was great.

Portofino was an amazing resort that was secluded but not desolate. The vibe is great, the staff is all very good at their jobs. From Nick the general manager to Raul the bartender to Marcos the other bartender everyone was very helpful and very willing to go out of their way to help make us comfortable. My husband and I were very happy to have picked this hotel, we have traveled a lot and the friendliness of the staff at Maruba is unsurpassed..Melonie is the best at making sure you get the best activities planned for you, Gloria and Janeele were our waitresses and were very attentive and friendly. The tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable. I truly recommend the mud massage for couples, it's something you'll never forget!,, the chef Orlando makes the best of the natural resources...

Very clean & well maintained. The staff was very helpful & cheerful. The restaraunt was very good. (every bit as good as some more expensive places) Also the food & drink prices were quite reasonable. The location is within easy walking distance of most activities as well as just exploring the town. On San Pedro I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Lotta fun & good vibes & an excellent value!

This is place is a bit outside of the city, but totally worth it. It's very clean and relaxing and the breakfast is quite good. No stale donuts or questionable pancake batter here. They were really good about making arranging transport for us and making sure we were comfortable. Also, the staff is super friendly, especially the drivers and front desk staff. Overall, a very great experience!

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks during a business trip. My room was beautiful and overlooked the sea, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Belize City, yet it's conveniently close to everything. The staff is wonderful and truly makes you feel at home. I will definitely be back!

This is an elegant old 3 story house built in the 1920's in a historical area of Belize City. The hotel has marvelous large verandas on every floor. You can see the Caribbean from the 2nd and 3rd floor. In the morning the bird song was lovely and we saw beautifu red and yellow birds. The rooms were great, the staff was friendly and very helpful and the food at nearby Celebrity Restaurant was fabulous!

We loved our stay here. It was a last minute find & wished we could have stayed a few more days longer. Great location near airport for immediate paradise upon arriving into Belize or last days of paradise. Fantastic rooms, quiet, clean & very relaxing, private feeling with beach views & nature away from hustle & bustle. The infinity pool was a bonus too.
