First off, the staff here is lovely. They are attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant. The rooms have a microwave and a fridge that actually keeps things cold (you know what I'm talking about) in each room. Downstairs, they sell microwave meals and snacks at a reasonable price. The sheets were extremely soft, the mattress didn't hurt my back, and there were various types of pillows. I found the perfect pillow to meet my preference. They had Neutrogena products! The thermostat worked perfectly!...

We've been coming to Southport to visit family for 20 years and the Carriage House has always intrigued us but we've never stayed until now. It was absolutely wonderful. Amy was very friendly and knowledgeable and the facilities were amazing. I travel a lot and spend 30-45 days a year in hotels and this was one of my best experiences. I just wished we had more time to just stay at the Carriage House and enjoy it more, but we spent most of our time visiting family.

My first trip since my husband passed last year. Everyone was so friendly. I loved getting a text once I was in my room asking for any questions or concerns. Just had a few and they were answered immediately. I also loved the boards that listed local eateries even something for a sweet tooth, what else was available to do beside going to the beach. Staff was awesome, clean, I always love places that have coffee all day, room was roomy & comfortable only down side was the road construction around the hotel, but was manageable & no fault of the hotel …. Great stay

From the moment I called to let them know I was running a little late until the moment I checked out, all of the staff were professional, pleasant, and welcoming. The facility was clean clean and attractive. The room was excellent as well as the amenities. I could not have hoped for a better experience.

Large , clean comfortable rooms

The room was very clean, comfortable. The breakfast was really good every morning. It was easy to get to and in a great location. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was the bed was a little firm for my liking. Hallways were well lite. Very safe. Would definitely stay there again.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful, very clean. Central location to everything whether it is the beach, the stores, or downtown, you are less than 20 min to all. only thing i would say was one of the front desk staff women at night was not friendly at all upon arrival which was kind of disappointing but other than that, the rest of the staff was very pleasant. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone coming to Wilmington !

It was a great stay , people were very helpful and very friendly, close to everything 4 miles from Historic Downtown Wilmington river walk and close to Wrightsville beach ! Would definitely recommend this hotel
