"Receptionist brilliant ! We got lost sat nav took us down a dirt track , very helpful! Food awful, fish had been cooked twice tough, ribs hadn’t been cooked properly so mainly fat. Rooms spotless and very reasonably pruced"

"The property was gorgeous! The room was large and the bathroom updated. Staff were really helpful and the food was very good. It IS very remote so if you are going as a destination to really use the amenities-golf course, pool, spa, etc., it was great. We had hoped to use it as a base to travel out from but the roads were so narrow and rather treacherous getting in, we didn’t feel like driving back and forth to other locations in Devon and Cornwall, which was too bad. "

"We stayed at the Buttercups Lodge. It was a very comfortable stay and also very serene and peaceful. The location of the lodge is ideal for a family or couple who want to go exploring different parts of Devon and also a drive to Cornwall. The lodge has everything you need and the view of Dartmoor is absolutely breathtaking from it. Andrew and Sally were brilliant hosts and kept in communication with us whenever we needed it.
