"Lovely and handy for the castle for an event. However at £200 a night I would expect Aircon or at least a fan in the room. There were no cups for tea in the room. Despite 34degree temps and asking twice all we were offered was a small fan. Bed was comfy but as it was unprecedentedly hot it was difficult to sleep. Not the hotels fault that it was so warm but really they should cater for paying guests. The bar snacks were very poor, calamari was inedible and for £18 I expected more that 5 falafel,...

"Staff, location and breakfast first class. Hotel itself is in need of a refresh in the rooms - mentioned by other guests - but overall a very enjoyable stay"

"Air-conditioning non functional gave up in end Bathroom a bit musty fan not working Which seems to be normal in hotels these days Was very busy so staff seemed a bit short at times 2 cleaners arguing in lift lobby so we had to wait for lift until they had finished Been here before don't think will be back a third trip Not for the price we paid"

"Got to the property late (as pre arranged) and managed to locate the reception person after finding the emergency number. Room was clean but a little tired looking apart from a new thick carpet. Facilities generally good but no plug sockets next to the bedside tables. I am a CPAP user so had to have the power lead running from the desk area on one side of the room to the bedside table on the other side creating a trip hazard across the floor."

"Great value property for a night in Scarborough, a tea towel would have been nice but we managed with a towel instead. Would definitely return."

"Stayed here had a broken bathroom window on looking to a house . Heating did not work and had to ask for a heater as was freezing. The bed was more or less on the floor it was so low . The whole hotel looks like its been closed for years and someones re opened without doing anything . No sea view where i was either "

"Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was nice and clean. Its not the hotels fault but some of the people that were staying there made it not so nice experience lot of banging and shouting at night and someone was trying to get into my room at one point. But overall the hotel itself is good for anyone travelling for a few nights in skegness."

"Lift out of order. Pool spa out of order. Room and bathroom very tired. Room layout was like something was missing. Bed uncomfortable. Only upside was free water and 2 packets of biscuits."

"Well appointed and clean rooms. Dinner in the hotel was great. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with low stock and slow service. Gym and pool were well maintained."
