"Great location and easy to walk to many attractions"

"Staff all very friendly, lobby smelled great! The room was a great size. Loved having coffee, tea and fridge in room. Bed was great (king) we liked there was no cover sheet they just get tangled. Pillows could be a bit better. We asked for extra which made it better. Bathroom door slammed. These are minor complaints. Stay was excellent! We would stay again 😊🇨🇦👍"

"From check-in to check-out, this was a truly seamless experience. The team at reception were fantastic—engaging with our kids and making them feel genuinely special. Our room was ready ahead of schedule, which was a welcome bonus. The location is excellent—just a couple of minutes’ walk from the London Eye, which made for a fun surprise on arrival. As with most of central London, public transport links were straightforward and convenient. The room was exactly as expected, with a fold-out bed already set up for the kids. Everything was clean, tidy, and in good working order. We hadn’t booked breakfast in advance as the standard rate was absurd, but once on-site we were offered it at £20 per adult per day with kids included for free. At that price, it was worth it—breakfast was decent quality and did the job. The shower deserves a special mention—hot, powerful, and stocked with products that actually smelled nice (a rarity in hotels!). Despite overlooking Waterloo station, the room was completely silent. Would happily stay again."

Our room was spotlessly clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and every detail felt thoughtfully curated for guest comfort. The spa facilities were outstanding one of the best I’ve experienced. Peaceful, relaxing, and a perfect escape from the busy city. We also enjoyed a delicious and healthy breakfast, full of fresh options to suit all tastes. Everything about our stay was top-tier. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Manchester. A true 5-star experience in every way."

"The Alan Hotel was a lovely place to stay while in Manchester. It is in a great central location, a 10 minute walk from Piccadilly, the room was spacious, the bed was so comfortable-I slept like a log. The staff were really friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in Manchester. "
