"Its so old and dated. Gets worse every year. Its crowded and there is no enforcement of property rules so it’s a total free for all. The quiet pool is a bunch of screaming kids and there are kids in the adult pool. No where to relax in a peaceful place. Screaming kids and barking dogs all day and night. The rooms are not well kept. Furniture, mattresses and pillows are old. Our mattress was so pilled you could feel it though the sheet and there is not fitted sheet its just a too sheet tucked...

"As a former hotel manager of small to mid-size hotels in downtown and smaller communities, I was frustrated to see deferred maintenance and cleaning in many areas. Of two elevators, one was out of order entirely. The elevator doors were dirty. Some floor indicator lights did not work. Our floor had a lopsided luggage cart due to a missing wheel sitting in the hall. The hallway windows were extremely dirty. Entering the room and seeing the state of the carpet was a shock. "We had a King Room on the fourth floor overlooking the highway. The road noise was the only negative but we knew that when booking. Everything else was top notch. Staff were friendly and helpful. Having the White Spot Restaurant on site was a bonus. Parking was plentiful and free. We'd stay there again if we had another event in the area."

"The staff were really Helpful and great with the kids. Ages 10, 9, 7 & 5. Told us where the local pizza place was and that was the best pizza we have had!! The rooms were very clean and the pool/ hot tub was also well kept up. The little market in the lobby was great for a late night ice cream."

"Hotel is clean and modern. Facilities and rooms are well kept and in excellent condition. Beds are comfortable. Location just off the highway but back from the street- quiet. Parking lot is difficult in that it has one entrance on one street and one exit on another and is shared with a restaurant. Fine once you figure it out. Overall a good experience that we will return to when we are in Abbotsford."

"The room was clean enough but the hotel is pretty run down with an awful smell in the stairwell. Breakfast was from 7-10 and when we went down at 8 they were out of food. We asked the girl to make more food for all the people waiting, she seemed unhappy that she had to make more. When she brought it out, the sausages were still ice cold"
