"The staff for the most part were amazing. They were very helpful and nice. The property was pretty clean as well. I feel as if it is pretty outdated which made it less comfortable than it should have been. I know all inclusives aren’t known for their food but the food here was especially terrible. "The Costa Rican people were very friendly. The room was very clean. The pool was a good size and has a bar pool. It is definitely family friendly. Staff was great and helpful. Most people spoke some English. The beach was lovely, although when the tide came in in the afternoon the ocean got rough. We had a wonderful week."

I had to get moved to another room When I booked it said night clubs , seafood nights we never had any of it! The swim up bar closed every day at 6pm This was not an all inclusive hotel!!!! "

"The staff was awesome! They were all very nice and helpful. The property was nice and clean. Rooms were clean and cleaned daily. It is hilly but we never had any issues with getting a golf cart. Pool was nice, clean and drinks were delicious. My only complaint was the food. It isnt the best just like any other all-inclusive. The Guys restaurant by the pool had a good chicken sandwich, burgers were ok. My wife liked the coffee shop...cheesecake was pretty good there also. Entertainment was good...

The transportation staff were top-tier and their driving abilities are unmatched. The only thing is that I did call and asked for the in room snacks to be stocked, but that was never done during my time."

"The food was why I took off a star. Buffet same every day and not all That appealing but the reserve sushi and especially the Italian was dreadful. The Italian was below average ranging to actually not edible. From crunchy gnocchi soup to stale sprinkle on mushy tiramisu. Not good at all. Don't do it if you are going to serve tiny portions that are gross."

"We had a great stay at the W. It was a beautiful resort with helpful staff. There was some wear and tear on furniture in the room but didn’t impact the stay. It was definitely pricey but paying for the brand. Only thing I wish was that for families traveling the adult only pool is beautiful and we will there were some hours that kids could enjoy the space as well."

"The resort was over all nice only issue we had was the day we needed to leave to the airport to depart the transportation to bring us down took an hour to come get us and almost made us late for our flight. The resort is up a hill and no walking is permitted for safety. So you are forced to wait. We called the office several times to get picked up and the phone would just ring and then they would answer and tell us to wait outside so we waited outside of our room for one hour before being picked...

"The Andaz Costa Rica Resort at Peninsula Papagayo was incredible and truly exceeded our expectations. The resort was beautifully maintained, with breathtaking scenery at every turn. We especially loved the pools, the seamless boat rides to the beach club, and the consistently friendly and attentive staff.
