It was centrally located right across the street from Kamaole I Beach, and while I wouldn't necessarily recommend staying anywhere in Kihei without a car, there were definitely places to eat and hang in walkable distance in both directions, and the hotel also offered a complementary shuttle service within a 3-mile radius. I don’t know what isn’t too like. Everything about this place screams cute and quaint. Just perfect for the garden isle. I read someone on another review complain about the chickens… if you don’t like the chickens then go to another island because they are everywhere! Beautiful stay

The staff overall was very friendly. The property was fixed up nicely, good secure lockers, and fun things to do in Hilo. The free tours were a great surprise. I enjoyed the Kona Beach day, Green Sand Beach hike and the chasing waterfalls (twice). Cool people from around the world... Very Spective Earthian!

The beds we comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't like that the bathroom had barely any counter space for my stuff and the only plug was on the far side of the toilet. Had to place my toothbrush on the toilet tank and hair dryer cord barely reached the mirror to see what your doing.

The only thing I didn’t like was the rooster who started at about 2:30 a.m. and went on through after sunrise!

Maui Seaside hotel is very clean they take great care of their landscaping. They have a great view and is close to the shops. Staff is friendly and they even have an airport shuttle for free.

Trip to Honolulu, HI. We had already paid in advance for our entire stay. But, out of the blue my card on file was charged again for a week stay. No one contacted me. We found out when we tried to place a charge to my card and it was declined. We were so embarrassed b/c we knew how much we had in our account for this trip. The manager on duty offered 50% off on a second meal, and a free meal. Please…a week stay was charged to our card when we had paid that week stay in advance…well over $1800...

Great hotel for families! Really convenient walk to everything, beach, restaurants and shopping. The staff were really nice and hospitable! It was a trip back home I needed when I visited my sick Mom. The stay at Imperial was definitely calming and worth it! Definitely my go to next time in Waikiki!

We stayed for a whole week at this hotel with our two grandchildren and my husband, it was a great place to stay Close to the beach and shopping.

It is an old hotel, but all the facilities were clean and pleasant. The hotel swimming pool facilities were good, and Waikiki Beach was also visible from the accommodation. The best thing was the accessibility. It was convenient to walk to Waikiki Beach, close to the shopping center, and take a shuttle to cultural facilities nearby.

This was my first trip to Hawaii and I enjoyed my stay at the Waikiki Malia. My room was clean and had all of the amenities I needed. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within walking distance of many shopping, dining options and the beach. Transportation was also convenient as you can catch the #20 bus for $3 from the airport and it drops you off in front of the hotel. The pink Waikiki Trolley is available for a tour of the area. This is my new favorite hotel in Waikiki! If you’re looking for a smaller hotel that isn’t a big resort, this is a GREAT option! Newly renovated less than 2yrs ago so everything is new, it’s clean, the staff is amazing, the rooftop pool is nice and has good views, the Heavenly restaurant downstairs has AMAZING breakfast! … I can’t say enough good things about my stay here. I’ll be back next visit!

We really appreciated the welcoming staff & drinks on arrival after a delayed travel day. They really helped set the mood for a great stay. The location is close to ABC Stores & great restaurant options. This hotel provided real coffee mugs and glassware in our room…a small touch but very nice! We will be back! Aloha!
