"Staff was very friendly and helpful but English was limited. Excellent location for ferris wheel, hotel opens into huge shopping mall, restaurants and very convenient to train station. Room was very comfortable and just as depicted on website. Amenities were limited on bottled water, and we our room included complimentary refreshments. Would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful hotel in a beautiful area!"

"Great place! Great Onsen and staff is very nice!"

"Great location, service and rooms clean everything’s perfect"

"El onsen lo mejor"

"There is a sense of serenity at Gora Kadan that simply cannot be described in words. You need to experience it firsthand to truly understand why this ryokan is, arguably, the finest in all of Japan. The exquisite omakase dining, the beautiful facilities, especially the outdoor onsen baths, and the unparalleled hospitality were nothing short of exceptional! Service here is sublime, delivered with such grace and discretion that you often don't even realize something has been taken care of until...

"An absolutely amazing stay in Hakone. The room was clean and tidy and oh so very spacious. The private onsen was a dream. The dinner and breakfast options I would highly recommend as there isn’t a lot of options around. Location is slightly inconvenient but that’s just small town life. However, this is a more modern ryokan than a traditional one which was fine with me. A great place to relax and wind down."

"The hotel was so amazing. The view is magnificent. The location is really good. The only thing that i could say that is a bit disappointing is there are stains in the sofa in the living room. Other than that everything is perfect."

"The staff great! Hotel very clean! Room perfect. Overlooks Bay and daily breakfast fabulous! Loved my stay and if ever back in Yokohama , I will always stay here…."

"Las habitaciones son antiguas, y tiene un olor a humedad, las instalaciones cumplen pero por los precios que manejan creo podrían ser mejor , el plan de comidas está muy excesivo el costo para lo que ofrecen , pero en general fue bueno ."

"While the service and location were both excellent, I was disappointed to be put in the dog wing literally. I didn’t book a dog room. Don’t have a dog. Chose this hotel for views which were on the east wing our room was in the west aka dog wing. Spa service was fantastic! Onsen experience was super relaxing. All good except for being with dogs!"

"Unreal experience"
