"The Lodge is very convenient for skiing, located at the base of the mountains next to the lifts. I stayed there in mid-March during many schools' spring break, and the hotel was very busy with lots of families. All of the staff that I met were friendly and helpful. I dined twice at the two restaurants on site: Alpine Hall and Tipsy Trout. Service quality was mixed. One night at Alpine Hall was professional, the other was amateurish with a poorly trained server and an out-of-date wine list....

"The front desk staff and restaurant staff were amazing! The chef even came out to ask us how everything was and interacted with my kiddo. The room was extremely clean and put together. I would absolutely recommend! "

"I've been looking forward to staying at Talta during ski season but the experience was rather disappointed. The location is great, front desk staff was friendly, and room is clean and updated. However, the walls are paper thin (we stayed at one end unit on the top floor of the building), and we had to hear non-stop dog barking from 7pm-10pm, then someone watching TV during sleep time. It was a nightmare stay for a needed good sleep. People camp at the outdoor hot tub, so it's almost impossible...

"Everything with the room itself was great. It was clean and in a great location. My issue with this reservation was the amenities. They are not inlcluded. So even though the listing says they have pools and hot tubs, don't expect to be able to use them unless you pay more when you get there. This should be made clear to anyone that books at this resort. "

"Late check-in was easy and I appreciated having a key ready after the office closed. Parking was a mess though, NO handicap spots and no actual spaces available either. Had to make my own spot both nights. Room heat was off when I arrived, and once I turned it on there was loud knocking all night, was told later it’s because the room is over the boiler. "
