They said the front desk was available till 12 midnight I called ahead to let them know I would be there at 11:30pm to check in, no one was there. My husband went to take a bite of his food and the breakfast sausage was hard like it had been sitting there for a long time....

"The beach is just a short walk away. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Everything was very clean, and compared to other hotels in the same price range, this place offers excellent value for the money. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you to the entire staff for making our trip so enjoyable!"

"Solid choice in Kill Devil Hills. Location is right on the beach with direct access. Nice pool for a change of pace after the ocean. Breakfast was fine. Within walking distance, or a short drive, to several shops & restaurants. Reception staff was very helpful and professional. Room was large with a balcony and view of the beautiful ocean. Only slight criticism is some of the grounds and building exteriors are looking a little worse for wear but that won’t stop me from going back!"

"We enjoyed the stay, staff seemed to be helpful. We had a problem w/balcony, woke up one morning & water all over it, after they fixed AC/ it became worse. We think a whole new system was needed. Other than that, not a bad place."

"Had issues with room, toilet, room cleanliness, was placed near elevator, looked like there were people who lived there. The pictures do not accurately reflect the current state of the property. We discussed our issues with the onsite staff who told me I needed to speak with day staff. Didn’t understand why any staff on duty couldn’t resolve guest issues, but that should be a policy change. Contacted Expedia who contacted property & found a Mgr who we could voice our concerns to, Final...

"Expedia me cobró por la reservación y ala hora de regístrarme page otra cota de 200$ dólares más y eso Expedia no lo explica los cuertos están feos y caminas mucho para llegar a el aparte muy enredado la agua caliente tarda 15 minutos en llegar todo está muy caro hay las piscinas sucias cada año iva los oteles vecinos pensaba q este esteva mejor pero me lleve una muy grande decepción si quieres tirar 600 por noche más lonqnte cobren en recepción y llevarte un mal momento y una mala experiencia...

"The indoor pool and jacuzzi were not monitored. The jacuzzi water was milky looking and disgusting. The indoor pool was dirty and full of sand. The cleaning staff left a dirty Mr Clean Eraser in our room one day and I told the supervisor. The next day the dirty Mr Clean Eraser was still there along with a cleaner's employee key card. The rest of the hotel was and amenities were average."

"The room was beautiful, albeit tucked away in the woods. The amenities were unavailable due to rain. I was unable to get an answer from the staff as to why an indoor pool was closed from rain outside!!"

"The hotel was conveniently close to the airport - about 10 mins. Katey May checked us in and was super professional and offered several options for dining and activities. The room was clean and very well appointed. Great location, close to historic downtown Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, and also close to highways to visit Carolina Beach, Southport, and Myrtle. Finally, their check in warm cookies cannot be beat! A fantastic experience!"

"Our room was steps from the ocean, the convenience was amazing! The pool was great, the room was pretty clean. There was no exhaust fan, sink or mirror in the bathroom and I did empty the dehumidifier in the room 4-5 times a day. There was a microwave and refrigerator but no toaster. Overall, it was a nice place for a great price. The staff was friendly and the location was amazing!"
