We stayed for three nights on a skiing holiday as a winter break. The accommodation was very warm and spacious. The location is out of town but there is a shuttle which we appreciated.

Our stay at Stoneridge was just amazing. We were greeted with cheese platter and wine which was really nice as we were hungry. :) We stayed at the Arrow suite which has a lap pool right in front. Very clean and nice room with complimentary beer, milk and soft drinks. The property has a vineyard too which is great and it is an amazing place to take some awesome photographs. Breakfast was among the best we’ve ever had. The staff paid attention to every detail. Eco friendly touches did not detract from comfort and convenience. Glenorchy was peaceful and quiet and a perfect antidote to ski days in Queenstown. One of my favorite spots was the covered outdoor fireplace savoring a hot chocolate or a whiskey on a freezing night. I live a long way from New Zealand, but hope to return at some point.

Gorgeous, breathtaking views no matter where you look. Stunning views of the lake and the mountains can be seen from your bed, the couch, and even from the tub in the bathroom. We arrived at Aurora on George just as New Zealand was getting ready to go to level four for the coronavirus pandemic. We stayed three nights until we could fly back to the US. Chris the manager was SO helpful during this stressful time. He had to limit service to protect staff, but answered all our needs and made sure we had what we needed. I’ve traveled extensively and this is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed at anywhere. The rooms are stunning. The whole hotel is stunning. There was a separate toilet and then a shower with sink that could be closed off with opaque glass doors. High quality amenities like Nespresso, slippers are robes. Truly an outstanding experience.

I don't need to say much about this amazing hotel. The location is incredibly convenient to downtown Queenstown. You can walk to all of the restaurants and nightlife. All of the staff are attentive and helpful. The room we stayed in had a top-notch bed and luxurious sheets. The floors in the bathroom are heated, as is the towel rack. There was a TV in the bathroom for the tub area. It isn't the cheapest hotel in town, but for the price it is worth it and then some.

Wow, what a lovely hotel! The location couldn’t be beat - we walked everywhere with the gorgeous lake in front, the gardens to the left, surrounded by shops and restaurants. Love this place! The bathtubs in the rooms are wonderful. We have stayed in 3 different lakeside view rooms, each one was great. Love that they each had fireplaces. The restaurant was very good. Views are amazing!
