"Amazing stay with my husband & two Sons. We are from England, so loved the cultural differences in this hotel. Staff were polite & helpful. Location was round the corner from Kyoto Station. Accessible to subway & meeting points for day trips. Traditional breakfast, which was excellent. They even accommodated me, as vegetarian. We loved the traditional Japanese onken & the yakatas provided for us to relax in. I would whole-heartedly recommend this as a fantastic place to stay & a cultural...

"had such a wonderful stay! the hotel is very clean and well maintained and the amenities are incredible. the onsen was spectacular with so many different pools to go in. staff was very helpful"

"Loved how central this house was. The hotel itself is super chic and modern. Breakfast downstairs in the main room is delicious. The rooms are spacious for being Japan hotel. I’d stay here all over agai ."

"The hotel is in an excellent location. You can walk to amazing restaurants, shops and the local streets are beautiful. It’s really easy to get around from here. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. However I did not find the reception staff very helpful. I wanted advice on day trips, booking a private car and booking a restaurant and they wouldn’t help me or were very reluctant to help. Booking various things on websites and via phone can be very difficult when you don’t speak...

"Great location, 16 minutes by train to most shrines or a 20-30 minute walk. Across from the Kyoto station. Near some good hole in the wall places with great food (cash only places). There’s a great multi level shopping mall next door. Could’ve used more mirrors, shower did change temperatures while using it, bathroom was small, especially for having the only sink."

"Excellent support with luggage transfer"

"A great hotel in every imaginable aspect. Location is great. Rooms are spacious and well kept and cleaned. Amenities include private and a public onsen, a fitness facility, and a laundry facilitiy that uses Suica card. Staff is friendly and supportive. Dinner was extraordinary."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Cross Hotel, Kyoto. The location was convenient and walking distance to a lot of the main sights, and the property itself was beautiful. Would absolutely recommend staying here while in Kyoto."

"Amazing location- can walk to nearly all central attractions and close to transit. On a quieter street which is great. Kind staff. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired- not worth the cost"

"Très bon emplacement, et très bon rapport qualité prix"

"Ok hotel"

"Todo la vista a la tower fue increíble me volveré a hospedar aquí"

"This is a terrific hotel. The staff we’re very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean, with lots of amenities, and it’s in a great location. Highly recommend!"

"Central location but the streets are really noisy . When we asked for another room away from the street or on a higher floor, it was sort of shrugged off and we were told the inside room may be just as noisy and smaller. They offered ear plugs so clearly this has happened before. As we were packing to head to the train we got a call to our room telling us we needed to check out. We were ten minutes past 11, so ten minutes late. This was not aligned with excellent hospitality we were given in...
