"Friendly and comfortable hotel in beautiful surroundings "

"Stayed here as I was on business in the area and the hotel had just been added. Check in was easy and I was shown to my room, up 2 flights of stairs, the second of which was a tight, and through to many doors to mention. The room was basic but painting all of the walls white doesn't hide the fact that the hotel is in need of a lot of tlc. "I arrived at 9.40 p.m. to a friendly greeting. The hotel is a pub with upstairs rooms, tastefully modernised, excellent value. The Turkish pizza restaurant is almost opposite and open to 11 p.m. An excellent full breakfast provided at this hotel. The staff are genuinely caring."
