"I was disappointed to find out that this hotel was tucked away in an awkward location. I read that it was a 15 min walk from the leaning tower of Pisa but it is actually a 15/20 minute drive instead. There is a bus stop fairly close by that tou can walk to but this only runs once an hour. The rooms are very basic but this is expected for the price however they are clean and comfortable. "I cannot say enough positive things about our stay at Albergo Etruria. Daniele & Paola are phenomenal hosts who went above and beyond to help us have the best stay possible! In addition the building is fantastic.. a bed & breakfast feel with a gorgeous cafe and rooftop access to one of the most picturesque walking trails in all of Volterra. Location wise the hotel is absolutely central to everything and after 5 days of walking everywhere that we could I believe it is simply on the best street...

"Brilliant stay! Sylvia at the check-in was kind and welcoming and....we got to see the beautiful boutique hotel and restaurant, Locanda Sant'Agata, where we were asked to check-in. This was a sight for sore eyes as it was surrounded by rolling hills, as was Cascina canova B &B, which was only a few minutes from the hotel.
