"It was convenient to be close to train station. The hotel had great pool it was great location if you have a flight or train to catch. An hr to Milan city center."

"Nice hotel with a historical building and nice pool. The downside is that the furniture needs renovation, pillows are non comfortable, the bathroom sinks are noisy and hard to open. Also, we paid for extra occupancy but we get only one bottle of water."

"This hotel is convenient for Milan, Malpensa airport and Lake Como being under 20 minutes on train. Train station 5 minute walk. You can also get to Lake Garda and Verona from Milan easily. The hotel is spotless and clean, pillows divine, beds comfortable, the bar and facilities excellent. The barman in the evening is very helpful and we enjoyed sitting there each night before bed. Overall excellent hotel. We did not try breakfast so can not comment. Recommend to stay here"

"Very professional staff. Making our stay as comfortable as possible."

"A hot water heater pot did not work. Prices of the items are not well advertised, e.g., the cost of the airport schüttle. It is located very close to the airport."

"Far from the city. Isolated from the city. Expensive to go out. Very clean. Price is reasonable. Airport shuttle was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful."

"We chose Hotel Montegrino Lake View largely because of the Expedia photographs and reviews, which created an impression of a modern hotel with good facilities and beautiful views. Unfortunately, our experience was very different. To be fair, our room was clean and the lake view from the balcony was lovely. However, the hotel itself was very basic, dated and tired, with little décor or comfort. There was no shower gel or hand soap, and the bedding consisted of sheets and an old brown blanket...

"When I arrived at the property it was close to 2:00 pm. I had not eaten and there was no place at the hotel I could go to get a snack or something similar to hold me over until the bar opened at 4:00. The breakfast the next morning was ordinary at best. The gentleman at the registration desk was very brusk. When I asked about places that may be nearby, he abruptly said there was nothing. It wasn’t until a young man came to fix the safe in the room that I received a few great suggestions...

"Close to the airport with a low cost shuttle bus Hotel needs to be refreshed. Flooring in corridors and rooms is worn. Check in took a while but the staff member was helpful when we did get to check in"

"After delayed-late flights and a mishap with the rental car we finally made it to the hotel and we were greeted by very unfriendly staff. It was like we were inconvenient for being there even with a smooth check in process. The gave us the wrong room so the first night of our honeymoon we had two separate beds in a scary looking hotel room. Definitely definitely definitely do not recommend. This was the first stop along our way and maybe if the staff were friendly in the slightest it would've...

"Fabulous stay , comfortable, clean . The resteraunt was superb . I would highly recommend the restaurant , we had some delicious meals ,and wonderful generous breakfast . Shuttle to the airport easy to book ."

"Convenient location to airport but would not stay there again. Horrible bed and depressing view of dumpster out the window."

"Wir waren für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise in dem Hotel. Es liegt etwas ausserhalb der Stadt. Die Ausstattung etwas älter aber alles sauber und bequem. Sehr hellhörig aber für eine Nacht vollkommen in Ordnung. Pool und Aussenbereich haben wir nicht genutzt, sieht aber gut gepflegt aus. Preise in der Bar i.O. Ganz tolles Frühstücksbuffet!!"

"Great place with friendly staff"

"Good value for money, free parking is great, location is good if you have a car. Hotel room was as expected, the cost of breakfast and use of Spa facilities is extra and a little bit on the expensive side (which is why we did not make use of this). The sound proofing in the rooms is not great, you can hear the noise from the corridor everytime a door is shut or people walk past the room. Beds were comfortable and the room was well maintained. Overall would recommend the hotel based on the...

"The hotel is located to a regional train station. Lots of good options for dining. Breakfast was good and staff was friendly"

"Had a lovely stay here after a long drive. Great location if it’s just a lay over, or for a night before or after flying from Malpensa. I had an annex room which was huge! Huge bathroom too. Private parking space right at the patio door. Nice selection for breakfast. Will definitely use again if in the area."
