The Mill Street Inn was a unique spot with a great location, a few minutes walk to Bellevue or Thames Streets. Our room was more like a suite, had a separate living room and a bedroom. Amenities were great, and there was breakfast that you ordered the night before that they delivered at the time of your choosing. Staff couldn’t be friendlier, especially Lori who seemed to know everything about Newport as a lifelong resident. Would definitely go back!

Great location and the hotel is very clean and in excellent condition. Thought the price was high for the time of year (mid- Oct). We were just there for a night so I thought it was crazy that we had to pay a resort fee considering the restaurant was not open and we were told we had to be out by 11:00am because they were closing the hotel for the week. Other than that the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Really like the hotel and the location. Our room was nice but in the worst location in the hotel. On the busiest street with buses and we could even hear the crosswalk beeping. Really annoying. Make sure you don't get a room ending in 14! Also valet parking is $45 a night. Highway robbery.

Design wise it’s off the charts, friendly, accommodating, beds are comfortable bar is wonderful… clean and just easy to relax at! It was our 3rd time and back we will be back again and again!

This is the third time we have stayed here. Just one night as we passed through visiting relatives. This time we had a suite with the loft and it was the whole family-including three small children. Very roomy and nice. The location is downtown Newport. The parking is GREAT. You can leave your car right in front and walk anywhere. The staff was incredibly pleasant. Great place with modern-beach vibes in a historic building. 1 min walk to Tennis Hall of Fame. The only small negative-too hot at night, had some difficulty regulating room temp.

Travel plans changed while at the hotel. They worked with the 3rd party booking app to make that happen. Much appreciated.

Probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. The gentleman at the front desk gave great local recommendations and made a personal connection as we were both heading to Bar Harbor the next day. Breakfast was reasonably priced especially for having smoked salmon on the buffet to go on my bagel and even had capers. Staff at the restaurant was also great.
